Open Eye Gallery

Established in 1982, the Open Eye Gallery is set in the heart of Edinburgh’s New Town in a former Georgian townhouse.  Offering an extensive and varied exhibition programme of Scottish contemporary painting, printmaking and applied arts throughout the year, the Open Eye Gallery prides itself on the strength of its curation and the quality of the work exhibited.

Exhibiting emerging talent alongside established artists who command international renown, the Open Eye Gallery represent artists such as Barbara Rae RA CBE, John Bellany (1942-2013), Leon Morrocco RSA RGI and Alberto Morrocco OBE (1917-1998), who are recognised as some the most important artists to come out of Scotland in the last century.
