Jupiter Rising x EAF returns for a wild night of experimental music, performance, and queer artistic chaos curated by Sgàire Wood. Wood is a Glasgow-based Irish artist and performer. Her practice has its origins in drag, fashion photography and multi-artform nightlife scenes. She has performed at clubs, events, galleries and festivals across Europe, as well as co-founding the much-missed Glasgow queer club, Bonjour. Sgàiraoke, Wood’s hybrid of performance art and karaoke, has been a regular and much-loved feature of Jupiter Rising since the early days of the festival.
Expect the usual art-drenched chaos, late night dancing, music and stunning performance in the woodlands of Jupiter, all imbued with the glamour, allure and experiment at the core of Wood’s practice.
