Katie Paterson: Afterlife

Afterlife is a sculptural installation by internationally acclaimed Scottish artist Katie Paterson, comprised of nearly 200 amulets. Each is created with materials sourced from endangered landscapes and fragile ecosystems, exploring themes of deep time, geology, and the environment. Coming to Scotland for the first time after its initial commission for Folkestone Triennial 2025, Afterlife prompts us to consider the legacies we leave for future generations.
