Each year, EAF draws curators, directors, producers, writers, collectors, and artists from across Scotland, the UK, and internationally. Professional accreditation gives industry delegates access to a dedicated programme of events, visits, and resources designed to make the most of your time in Edinburgh during the festival.
Who Should Register
Professional accreditation is open to individuals who engage with the visual arts sector in a professional capacity. We welcome applications from:
→ Curators and programmers working in galleries, museums, biennials, and festivals
→ Gallery directors, commercial gallerists
→ Producers, arts managers, and project coordinators working with visual artists
→ Critics, editors, and writers with an active publishing or commissioning relationship
→ Academics and researchers whose work engages directly with contemporary visual art
→ Arts funders and commissioners
→ Artists with a substantive exhibition or commissioning track record
→ Representatives of residency programmes, art schools, and professional development organisations
We particularly welcome delegates from beyond the central belt of Scotland, from international institutions, and from organisations whose work intersects with EAF’s commitment to socially engaged practice.
What Accreditation Includes
→ Launch Day access: Invitation to the full EAF Launch Day programme on 14 August, including curated visits and the industry reception
→ Priority scheduling: Advance notice of Launch Day programme and ability to attend before general release
→ EAF contact: Named contact at EAF for the duration of the festival for questions, introductions, and logistics
→ Partner network: Introductions to EAF’s Partner Galleries, venues and curators on request
The registration deadline is Friday 31 July 2026. Late applications may be considered at the team’s discretion, but we strongly recommend registering in advance to receive full access to the Launch Day programme.
