EAF invites audiences to gather around our 22nd edition, unfolding in venues across the city
The festival’s 2026 edition invites you to gather around alternative queer images in Edinburgh graveyards, Japanese fetish paintings, community-held stories, living, breathing sound collections, string performances from Golan Heights, reimagined relics overlooking the city, and late-night parties in a sculpture park.
Presenting over 70 events and exhibitions across 40 Partner Galleries and Venues, the Festival showcases artists: local and global; historic and contemporary; emerging and established; and always strives to amplify intersectional voices.
